Variety, Colour, Design
Studio Stitches recently returned from working on location in Camden making curtains for 2 flats and part of a house, a total of 14 curtains and 13 nets of varying sizes. Early starts and late nights over 3 weeks with the occasional hour off here and there to take advantage of the gym in the park (Excellent free facility), a bit of sightseeing and living the London life.
All the curtains were pinch pleat and required a huge amount of hand finishing. Main fabric was silk and the lining a faux suede, which made an exceptionally high quality luxury curtain.
Here's one from the archives. A loose chair cover for a much loved chair. With the pattern being so big and bold it was important to match both vertically and horizontally.
A while ago I was asked to make some patchwork panels to be turned into cushion covers for a PPH client. Using the cut and stack method meant there was variety in the colourplacement
Suzanne creates with textiles, and is happy to work with you, to create your products.
